'It's pathetic, we have gone mad': Joanna Lumley says women used to be 'tougher' and claims it is the new fashion to be a 'victim' as she discusses the MeToo movement.
Joanna Lumley said that women used to be 'tougher' and claimed it is the new 'fashion' for people to claim they are a 'victim'. The actress, 76, candidly voiced her opinions on the #MeToo movement and claimed it is 'mad' that people are now calling themselves 'victims'.
Reflecting back on her early modelling days, she said women looked after themselves and were 'tough' back then as she spoke about sexism and harassment.
Angela Grant totally supports her outlook! She is a great girl, we modelled together in the 70s advertising Jacuzzis together, with Bubbles! (imagine). We were flattered and amused when we passed a building site and got a wolf whistle. Just smile girls and Carry on.?!

Who better for your swan song than Sinatra
ACTRESS ANGIE GRANT is just back from a coast-to-coast American romance with KIRK DOUGLAS’S son PETER, 28. It stopped off at all important points. Says Angie, 33 : “Please don’t make me out like BRITT EKLAND, but Peter and I were in Los Angeles, New York and that Florida place , Key West.” Now, however, love’s great adventure has ended, but in some style. Angie tells me : “We’re now just good friends, but before I flew home, Kirk and his wife gave us both a special dinner party.” So special indeed that FRANK SINATRA and his wife BARBARA turned up as surprise guests. Of course, if you are going to bust up, there’s nothing like having OI’ Blue Eyes warble the swan song.

HER hair is as straight as seaweed, her make- up is waterlogged. But actress Angie Grant looks exotic and beguiling as she breaks the surface after a long dive. Her natural good looks have won her parts in seven films this year. No wonder Angie radiates: mid summer gladness.
